Change Package or Service

To upgrade or downgrade a package or service for a customer, complete a service change.

  1. Click the wrench beside the Package or Service number. Choose Change Package or Change Service.
  2. Note: The Resources and Service Type on the definition must match for the product to be a choice in the drop down list of new definitions.
    Enter the Change Date and select the new definition.
  3. Update any pricing or settings needed on the new definition.
  4. Click Save for the change to occur on the date requested during batch processing. Click Process Change for the change to occur immediately.
The Status will remain as Scheduled until the change date has passed. When the change date arrives, the service change occurs during batch processing and the Status will be set to Completed. If the Package or Service is closed before the scheduled change date, then the Status is changed to Cancelled. The list of all changes is found on Package Changes tab on the Package or Service.
