Limit Product Selection By Account Class

Product Selection for a Customer may be limited by specifying the Account Class on the Account Profile and on the Product Definition. This is selection only. No checking is done of data in the database.

Populate the accountclasses List.
1. Select Billing Administration > Lists.
2. Select the accountclasses List.
3. Add entries to the accountclasses List.
Populate the Account Class field in the Account Profiles.
1. Select Billing Administration > Lists.
2. Select the Account Profile.
3. Set Account Class.
4. Click Save.
Populate the Account Class field in the Product Definition.
1. Select Billing Administration and then one of the items under Product Definitions. Usage Tier Planis not applicable for this
2. Select the Account Class. More than one may be chosen.
3. Click Save.

When displaying the list of Products to add to a User, only those where the Account Class on the Product is either not set or if set and matches the Account Class on the Account Profile will be displayed. The same process is used when displaying products available in the Customer Portal. The same holds for One Time Items/Fees.
